I can't stand Medium or understand at all how it has become so popular. Facebook is constantly trying to outgrow what it should be, and the more it does this the less nice it becomes. Twitter I have little issue with though, amazingly.

From the blogging point of view, twitter is nothing but for making announcements on new content, or targetting them for outrage. There is very little conversation around the message.
