Except that if the "social "companies keep growing and merging eventually they will have more power than governments and if you are not signed up you may as well don't exist.
- mandelbrotwurst 8y agoAre you sure? The government will still have its monopoly on force and power to tax.
- girvo 8y agoWhich is explored (in a decent but not brilliant way) in the Emma Watson movie "The Circle". It's ending was somewhat chilling, if a little naff. I enjoyed it though, and provoked some interesting thoughts, even if it doesn't dive quite as deep as I'd like into this topic.
