- asfasgasg 8y agoThis story and stories like it are not rooted in reality. They're rooted in what we dream reality might be, or what we wish reality were. They are wish-fulfillment fantasies.
- icebraining 8y agoI personally knew a guy who did nothing all day, and actually started practice shooting with an air pistol inside the office (when he got the night shift, when the bosses weren't around). He kept this up for at least two years (I lost contact since the person I knew at the company was fired for trading shifts with her colleagues, despite the recognition that she was a top performer in her group). The details (meetings, etc) might be fantasy, but the core fact that people get paid for doing nothing isn't.
