What are you?
- overcast 8y agoPromoter.
- staticautomatic 8y agoIs that different from "influencer"?
- Spooky23 8y agoI think it is more of an advocate. Talking about things that you like is fun and from what the poster stated, they benefit from trying new things and building a following. One of my coworkers does this for beer and has a a small following more interested in the minutiae of beer stuff than commerce. The problem is a matter of trust... when the advocate decides to cash in, the nature of what they write can change dramatically.
- rsynnott 8y agoSo basically a defective reviewer? As someone who only reads restaurant reviews in the hope that they'll be bad (I blame over-exposure to AA Gill), I find this whole social media 'influencer' thing deeply boring. Bad reviews are the fun type!
