Waiting behind defensive players wont work in soccer/football... Those players are offside. This means they are not allowed to receive the ball from a team member.
- JetSpiegel 8y agoThe best strategy is waiting just before the defensive line and start running before the defensive players can react to the pass (but not before).
- TimJYoung 8y agoHorizontally behind (in the same zone) is what I was referring to. Picture the play all going to one side of the defensive team's zone, while there are still stragglers on the other (horizontal side).
