What would really take AR to the next level is something like Google glass, where you’re essentially always in AR. The only downside is that you’d have to wear extra glasses, which might not be ideal if you already wear prescription, and that the technology is way too expensive for most people. But overall, I don’t think an AR boom is that far away.
