Sourcegraph used to be an online vscode, simply the coolest back then, but seems no more, they suddenly changed direction, possibly due to conflict of interests with Microsoft?
- sqs 8y agoSourcegraph CEO here. VS Code is great for editing, but Sourcegraph is code search/browsing. So we switched to using a read-only code view that loads super fast on the web. It has basically all the same features as before: https://sourcegraph.com/github.com/gorilla/websocket/-/blob/conn.go#L281 https://sourcegraph.com/github.com/gorilla/websocket/-/blob/... has code intelligence hovers, Git blame, symbols, etc. What features do you miss?
