- jimbofisher1 8y agoNot sure if you are being sarcastic or not. I definitely see HNs pro-at all costs-SV bias but I think it's a website dedicated to tech news and not income maximization? Oh and I can't smell any of y'all so that isn't really an issue.
- stephenhuey 8y agoI've been on here for many years and a lot of the most interesting insights I've gleaned have come from people who do not prioritize income above other things in life, plus a lot of the really interesting people on here are not sweaty nerds.
- Nuzzerino 8y agoErm, there is plenty of content here that doesn't imply endorsing the false paradise narrative of San Francisco.
- 18pfsmt 8y agoI find many prolific, long-time contributors to HN do not live in SV. I'd also say there's a heck of a lot more stories on social issues and politics. On second thought, I think people from SV use pseudonyms (and throwaways) more significantly.
