- sdesol 8y agoI'm guessing IDE is more off a signal of intent for now.
- TooBrokeToBeg 8y agoIntegrated with Git/Gitlab.
- bhhaskin 8y agoRight, but so does Atom. Atom is a text editor, not an IDE.
- RussianCow 8y agoThe line is pretty blurry these days. If you install enough extensions, it's very difficult to differentiate between Atom/VS Code and a "real" IDE.
- em3rgent0rdr 8y agoEven vim can be made to function as an IDE.
- romanr 8y agoAs popular classic saying goes; If you have to create a project to save a file then it’s an IDE.

- jobvandervoort 8y agoWe called it IDE from the first commit, as we intend for it to be a full replacement of a local IDE in the future. Besides having a vision ourselves of that, we also want to encourage and motivate others to contribute.
