- rakkhi 16y agoMan i wish I could give you 10 upvotes, you have just solved my only issue with Dropbox. I have like 4 machines that I work on regularly and this has now allowed me to sync all those config files you cannot easily move e.g. iTunes including the iPhone backups, Chromium user data. Thank you so much!!

- aquark 16y agoYou can use the sysinternals junction tool on earlier OS's: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896768.aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896768.asp...
- runjake 16y agoFor those of us who use the newer Powershell, instead of the legacy cmd.exe, mklink isn't available. But you have some different options: - Use the sysinternals tools, as recommended in the comment below - Install PowerShell Community Extensions and use New-HardLink, New-SymLink, New-Junction, Remove-ReparsePoint http://pscx.codeplex.com/ http://pscx.codeplex.com/ - Use ln.exe - c:\Windows\system32\fsutil.exe create hardlink - Use mklink anyway: PS C:\> cmd /k mklink /D foo bar
