Do we consider js frameworks to have 'jumped the shark' when they descend to the same sort of popularity polling as a reality TV contest? :) (I am tongue in cheek here - I realise stars <> actual usage in the wild, and the results can be gamed). For what it is worth, as a 35+ year veteran in the software coding world, I tried dabbling in both frameworks, and Vue seemed to make more sense to me and fitted my mind's view of how things should work.
