Minus hardware upgrades, mine has been running ten years continuously. Original fans even. My concern is when the day comes that it just stops, and I have no replacement options.
- greedo 8y agoYup. On my 2010, one of the RAM pair slots on the daughtercard has failed recently. I could buy a replacement off eBay, but for now it's fine. I worry about when the system board or something like that fails, but parts will probably be available for another 5 years.
