What tech is currently available for augmenting singing voice?

Is it possible to augment your singing voice and beat #1 singers with no talent? It seems most singers use auto tune. But is auto tune the only way? Has there been advancements in this area? Earlier, singers used to practise a lot since early age. Is this still required? With deep learning and AI here, what more is possible?
