How come there's not enough women ditch diggers? or male nurses? I am tired of the selective outrage in diversity.

- perfmode 8y agoThe great thing is: no one has to care what you're tired of. Your hurt feelings aren't more important than the dismantling of systems of oppression.
- Cuuugi 8y agoSelective Outrage. There are more systems of oppression than you care to mention. You just bring up what is fashionable. That is whats disgusting, you aren't in favour of equality. You just want a figurehead that doesn't look like you, to feel better about yourself.
- vivafrance 8y agoSuch nonsense. Tell me, when will we get some articles which promote women willing to date men who make less than them? Or women who are ok with men who stay at home to take care of kids? Those biases are still very strong amongst women.
- sctb 8y agoPlease, for the love of all that isn't dreadful and tedious, not this again. > Eschew flamebait. Don't introduce flamewar topics unless you have something genuinely new to say. - Cuuugi 8y agoWhile we are quoting guidelines, i would argue the whole story should be flagged. >"Off-Topic: Most stories about politics, or crime, or sports, unless they're evidence of some interesting new phenomenon. Videos of pratfalls or disasters, or cute animal pictures. If they'd cover it on TV news, it's probably off-topic."
