This is one of those examples of holding a man born in the 19th century to the standards of the 21st. I'm pretty sure lots of the things we think, say, and do will be seen as very problematic in the 22nd century.
- devnonymous 8y agoIndeed. I hope someday people would hold as much disdain and shock as this for statements justifying/rationalising things like gun ownership, immense private wealth when others around you suffer and need for private transport.
