Um I have a family friend who is a practicing psychoanalyst. They are still eligible for license in all States and remain a popular form of psychotherapy. So don't be so sure the field has moved past Freud. They still think his theories are valid enough to use on people.
- SketchySeaBeast 8y agoAccording to Wikipedia, it has evolved since Freud, so it may not be valid to say it hasn't moved past Freud. On the other hand, I'm sure homeopathy has changed in that time as well.
