I recently used 2 packets of sugru to adapt my Hoverbar gooseneck iPad stand to fit my iPad Air. (The company used to sell adapters for newer iPads but I waited too long and my Air is too old now.) Worked great. The sugru is about two years old, having been stored in the fridge all along.
