Former psych major here. At my undergrad, the psychiatry and psychotherapy tracks were actually in separate departments (neuroscience and psychology respectively). There was actually a world of difference between the two, and it's one of my post-graduation regrets that I didn't choose the more rigorous / intellectually satisfying department for my major.
