I use Nextcloud since a few years now and I have to say I am quite happy. Sometimes the devs have some awkward attitude towards not supporting the latest stable PHP version with their current version, but overall they do a decent job and every major release brings cool new features. With KDE the desktop integration is quite nice (don't know about other desktops).
