Seriously though, there's no shame in acknowledging there's nothing for you in Japan and heading home. I recently moved to a new country and that's literally my backup plan. As shitty as it may sound, if everything goes south, I'm just going to get on a plane and go home and start from square one again. Sometimes that's the best option.
