It is always a cost analysis : even if small powerful processors are available, should you use them?
If you're shipping a million units a 30ct difference can pay for a year of a good dev.
- iainmerrick 8y agoSmall slow processors are likely to have much lighter power requirements too. Barring a breakthrough in battery tech or wireless power, that’s going to be important for a long time for many applications (especially IoT).
