Nobody has figured out yet how to make freelancer issues sexy enough to yell over on the news. This is not a good thing for the political situation of freelancers, and this is not a bad thing for the political situation of freelancers. No entity representing freelancers is making campaign donations on their behalf. Freelancers are a political nonentity.
