I've spent the past three years using Django Rest Framework. I switched over to using a GraphQL (Graphene as the provider, Apollo as the client) and it's been fantastic thus far. Easy to pick up, great documentation. Will learn more as we grow.

- _hardwaregeek 8y agoI'm not sure I agree with "great documentation". It's a pet peeve of mine, but I don't like it when the tutorial for a server side program uses ES6 modules and decorators. This means I need to set up a build system for my back end. Which is just annoying. I can forgive ES6 modules, since they're experimental in Node 10, but decorators are still on stage 2. Don't write your tutorials with experimental features.
