Chat bot was terrible UX to begin with, because while you're at the screen, why not have a visual interface to show you all your options? Voice interfaces hold the promise of releasing us from the tyranny of screen time. I imagine walking the dog and replying to emails with my headphones. Might seem silly now, but would love that. NLP/NLG just isn't there.
