- jhall1468 8y agoSo are parts of Red Hat. I guess Red Hat hasn't embraced open source.
- thezultimate 8y agoI thought we are talking about Microsoft? But yes, some parts of Red Hat do not embrace open source :)
- jhall1468 8y agoMy point was that your comment was absolutely silly. Embracing open source doesn't mean never producing closed source. Contributing in commits and/or money is also embracing open source. You confuse embrace with replace.
- thezultimate 8y agoOK if that's your definition of embracing. Btw, you can make your point without bringing in Red Hat. It sounds absolutely silly to me :)
- justinclift 8y agoOut of curiosity, which parts of Red Hat don't embrace Open Source? I'm trying to think of some, and drawing a blank so far...
- thezultimate 8y agoMaybe I was wrong. I thought OpenShift is a proprietary product, but they actually open source it.
- justinclift 8y agoTheir flagship OS is completely Open Source, which is what was being alluded to. I'd be interested in seeing the source for microsoft's Telemetry, if you have a link? :)
