I personally prefer promises over callbacks, but kudos to your compelling reasoning. Promises are indeed a beast to tame, they do make debugging very difficult

I personally prefer promises over callbacks, but kudos to your compelling reasoning. Promises are indeed a beast to tame, they do make debugging very difficult among other things. I think the ecosystem evolved to just agree we should move as fast as possible to using async/await and be done with callbacks AND promises.
