I am a programmer starting my own business. I pretend to be a designer, but when it comes down to it, I'm really lost. I've tried the ThemeForest/WooThemes route for nice templates. While they have some beautiful templates, they'll still need customization that I can't do. Suck it up, find a good designer and pay them well. I'm glad I did.
