Is everyone really leaving GitHub, or is this just like 2013 when everyone "left" Google for DuckDuckGo. This is pretty bad personally, I'm writing a webcrawler for the site. I plan on making it cross-website anyway, but it kinda sucks hearing this.
- skinnymuch 8y agoIt does not appear to be the case that a ton of people are leaving GitHub. Gitlab is mentioned far and away more than all other alternatives combined and their GitHub importing I think is like ~100K repos imported since the Sunday rumors. A lot but nothing compared to the tens of millions of repos GitHub has overall.
