Is that really the first thing you think of when hearing Bayer? What about Volkswagen, Germany, Berlin, Brandenburger Tor?
I certainly think of the negative press when thinking of Monsanto.
- jessaustin 8y agoYes, it was. A moment later I thought of aspirin. "Volkswagen" has a different, more recent negative history. Indirectly poisoning people via emissions subterfuge is probably not as bad as VW's Holocaust activities, but in my defense the one has been in the news more recently. I don't have any particular reactions to "Germany, Berlin, Brandenburger Tor", the latter probably because I've never seen the term before. I guess I thought of Angela Merkel?
- cf498 8y agoDenying people you held as slaves compensation will do that sort of thing yes. Not to mention the "medical tests" on prisoners which they bought from the SS.
