After told on the face that his statement is unfounded from a much reliable source, he doesn't correct his statements nor apologize for spreading (seemingly?) false information (If you dissent, please elaborate with more strong evidences, not some holy "Sources"), instead, he continues with what appears to be insinuation that he is more authentic. Totally NOT COOL.
