Many youtubers emote (portray emotion in a theatrical manner) the events and issues they narrate. Their work description is simply to be emotionally enthusiastic of whatever happens. If the content of the channel is not deeply meaningful for it's creator anymore, the job loses meaning. The attention and popularity are rewarding but the effect wears out. If the enthusiasm is not genuine, it starts to feel bad.
