Why does having my vote's power scale with my salary make me treat it more responsibly?
- someguydave 8y agoI wrote taxes, not salary. The actual form of the tax system is a separate issue. It seems obvious to me that your vote should be weighted according to how much you are personally responsible for carrying the burden of government. Why should it be otherwise?
- geezerjay 8y agoBecause that would directly favour the interests of the wealthy elites at the expense of the vast majority of the population. That idea is only half decent of your goal is to get yet anothet bloody communist revolution on your hands.
