I read this in about the same light as if I read that all three candidates believe in homeopathy and intelligent design.
- hcknwscommenter 8y agoI am rent controlled. It is the only reason I still live in SF. I would love for more housing to be built that I could afford to buy. In the meantime, I would also love to be able to move into a rent controlled single family home, even if that raised rent prices %5 (estimate of effect of rent control on rent prices from other poster). It's the stability I crave. I know too many people who rented a single family home and then their rent tripled over night.
