- overcast 8y agoI mean a bazillion is way larger than 14k.
- bytematic 8y agoI would have used "umpteen", sounds large, but it's only in the teens.

- taneq 8y agoI realized a while ago that any hyperbolic ('eleventy billion' style, not counting cases where the actual value counts) number only needs to be about 10x the expected value to sound large. Further orders of magnitude don't seem to add any extra emotional impact after that.
