I do wish there was a more standalone way to interact with org-mode files. Being the lone Emacs user on a team feels like I lose a lot of the power of org files.
I would love to write our tasks / build config out in org-mode, but running that on someone elses machine w/o Emacs, CI, etc. seems not highly supported.
- andreareina 8y agoI think the easiest answer to that is to ship a stripped-down emacs that starts in org mode, probably with keys remapped to the "standard" set (`C-a` for select all, etc).
