Surfacing old news for Hacker News to build karma points is too-frequently a successful play. All you have to do is slap a (2010) and all gets forgiven.
- meritt 8y agoI don't think it's karma per-se, I think it's his marketing strategy. Take this very specific instance and we have: 1) OP submits 2-3 stories per day 2) OP comments far less frequently than his submission rate and those comments are almost never on his own submissions 3) OP's profile contains contact information for him as a B2B consultant and a link to his blog
