Bans like this seems to increase the opportunity/value for "alternate" app stores outside the recommended vendor, offering things that the vendor wont. EDIT: Point is that many apps receive a ban because they conflict with the interest of the phone vendor, but they can still be of great use to users.

Why would I want to put my apps in a store that is also going to aid users in bypassing my means of revenue?

  Then you should sell your app not user-data.

    I wish I lived in a world where that was the more feasible route. Sadly as it is, ad-supported is much more effective than the traditional model of paying for software.
