i think you just repeat meme phrases like "tether printer". do you know that tether neds to print and burn in order to keep the peg as it has always done according to its architecture or you think "printing" is something illegal and secretly done?
- evilDagmar 8y agoNo, it does not need to "print and burn", but if you'd like to begin buying some from me for $1.10 each, I'll happily accommodate you in large quantities if you can comply with KYC.
- vkou 8y agoTether promises that for every USDT they print, they have 1 USD in a bank account. They have provided exactly zero evidence that they indeed have 2+ billion USD sitting in some bank account somewhere. I think they even stopped pretending that they will pass an audit. I will eat my shoe if they are not breaking their own promise, about tether being backed by USD.
- catuenda 8y agoThat is false; they have provided good evidence which was verified directly with the banks, in fact, that Tether do have that much in USD. When that evidence was provided, the FUDsters did what one would expect of such people and predictably shifted the goalposts to "oh okay they proved have that much USD but it's not an audit so maybe we still have some time left to FUD about it". Do keep up.
