Yes I am talking about git tags. I purposely followed semver 2.0.0 which doesn't mention anything about a "v" prefix. Thanks for finding an old mention of version control tagging! At the end of the day it's not a big deal. I will just duplicate the tags so it won't break any dep configurations.
