Isn't a negative Yelp review protected by Freedom of speech? Inspite of that the lady had spent a fortune defending herself.
- mullen 8y agoEven if you are right, people can still sue you. Also, she has to put facts in her review since if she puts in lies or opinions, that can be seen as slander or libel. I think that is where she is getting into trouble.
- danso 8y agoShe isn't being sued for a negative Yelp review. She's being sued for alleged libel in the form of a negative Yelp review.
