Used this for my monthly expenses before I bought a "smart phone" a few years ago. Since then I use a more crude method -- the 'Keep' utility on Android as an "expense manager". A note with tick boxes, where each tick box denotes an expense entry, later do the math, I know it's super inefficient, but I don't want to install yet another application).
