Over the years I've seen projects using stackoverflow to answer dev/user questions and just recently I started using http://stimulusjs.org/ http://stimulusjs.org/ which runs a discourse installation for their users. Which I like a lot because it discourse is fixing a lot of the problems stackoverflow has while not being a chaotic chat like slack. I like my information well-ordered, grouped, focused and easy to search. Slack is a waterfall I just can't stand. (plus the emojis, am I too old for those?)
