Is Patanjali some kind of pyramid scheme / multi-level marketing scam? The situation described above sounds like what happens when a bunch of women in a small US town start trying to sell Lularoe clothing or some other scam.
- mayankkaizen 8y agoIt isn't pyramid scheme. It is cult following. You can sell anything to anyone if you effectively project yourself as a spiritual leader. This guy even claimed that homosexuality can be treated by yoga. And his followers send messages on whatsapp group which reads something like, "cancer is not a diseace. doctors use it as a fear mongering tools for making money. It is basically a vitamin B17 deficiency blah blah blah."
