- JumpCrisscross 8y agoThe UDHR is "not legally binding" [1]. It was analogous to a House Resolution, i.e. setting out general principles upon which actual law would be negotiated. "International law" most properly refers to ratified treaties, which have the force of law in their applicable jurisdictions.
