Ask HN: How Could a 'New' Internet Fix the Issues of the Existing One?
It's obviously not something I'm interested in working on, and I don't think there are too many projects as ambitious as to try and remake the internet altogether.
But let's say someone/some organisation/some group of developers did want to do this, and they wanted to fix all the issues the current internet has while doing so.
What could they do to make that happen? How could this system avoid walled gardens, spammers, security issues, domain name squatting, censorship and all the other issues the modern internet has in a scalable way?
How could a new internet/internet replacement be made better than the existing one?
