I think that there is an opportunity for a well known electric car maker to do some wonderful things in this space, the population is ageing and nobody wants to lose their mobility.
One day cars will be designed for people of all abilities.
- Reason077 8y agoIndeed. Electrification will allow automakers to rethink car design from the ground up, since they are no longer constrained by the conventional layout imposed by the combustion engine and transmission. As electrics start to go mainstream, we're hopefully also going to see a new era of creativity and innovation in their designs. Something which has been pretty stagnant for decades.
- petermcneeley 8y agoI would hope that one day cars would be be designed for nobody! An accessible self driving Uber-like service would resolve this persons problems as well as mine and so many millions of others.
