Ask HN: How do you find front end partner
So, I'm a pretty good backend engineer but I have a horrible sense of beauty. Everything I design becomes ugly and that has hurt my previous side projects. How do you go on to find a front end engineer to partner with for your ideas?
- natch 8y agoIt sounds like you are either looking for a front end designer, or a front end engineer who happens to also be a front end designer. The designer role itself also gets split up into different parts like graphic designer, UX designer, etc. but sometimes multiple hats are worn, of course. In the meantime, before finding one of these people, you could read up on a few very basic design principles and apply those. Or find some canned design templates to use.
