After facebook, google, cambridge analytica etc. screwing us all six ways to Sunday, nothing makes me happier than to see greedy inconsiderate techie "entrepreneurs" kick and scream and cry at regulators (read: voters) bringing the hammer down. If you didn't want regulators involved, maybe don't treat users like human garbage? You/we brought this on ourselves. There is a new Constable in town. Now put on your big girl/boy panties and deal with it. Or is handling user data responsibly one of the new "three greatest challenges in computer science"?
