How to Generate Free Wildcard SSL Certificates with Let’s Encrypt on Ubuntu
- originalsimba 8y agoThe article doesn't mention that Let's Encrypt certificates expire after 90 days. It's not enough to issue the cert, you also have to renew it in that time period, which requires repeating the whole process. This is not a criticism of Let's Encrypt, they are awesome and you should totally use them instead of paying some sleazy corp like Comodo. Just be aware there is more work involved than the article suggests.
