I have that in my 2017 Volkswagen. It brakes by itself in normal operations, gives very loud feedback if intervention is needed, but does not brake if the intervention is unexpected / probably erroneous, only audio then. I hope but do not know if the frequency and circumstances are logged and sent to Volkswagen when at the shop. Don't expect it though since it will first see the shop after 2 years. That would be too long for an improvement cycle.
